Using a random number generator

- Choosing random samples for surveys and tests.
2. Running a fair draw

- Set the range and number of winners, with duplicates turned off.
- Draw live on screen and copy the result so everyone can check it.
Frequently asked questions
Is this random number generator truly random?
It uses your browser's cryptographically secure random generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with rejection sampling, so every number in the range has exactly the same chance.
Can I pick several winners without repeats?
Yes. Set the quantity and leave "Allow duplicates" unchecked. Each number can then only be drawn once, which is ideal for giveaways and lucky draws.
What is the largest range supported?
Any whole-number range up to about 4.29 billion values, for example 1 to 4,000,000,000, and up to 1,000 numbers per draw.
