No. The .docx file is read and converted to PDF inside your browser, so your document never leaves your device.
Which Word formats are supported?
Modern .docx files from Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice and WPS. Old .doc files must be saved as .docx first.
Will the PDF look exactly like my Word document?
Paragraphs, headings, lists, tables and images are kept on A4 pages with 15 mm margins. Complex layouts such as columns, text boxes, headers and footers are simplified. Each page is rendered as a high-resolution image, so text in the PDF cannot be selected or searched. For a pixel-perfect, searchable PDF, use File → Save as PDF in Word itself.
